In December2017 I was diagnosed with "young onset Parkinson's disease " for me and my family This would be a life changing condition.

I try to the best of my ability to remain positive and manage this condition using various activities, music, walking, meditation  singing and various other stuff This site should give you an idea  into my day to day issues and will give you a greater insight into YOPD.

Fast forward to 2022 and its a very different fight.

Exercise for Parkinsons

Team sports in the fresh air

Outdoor exercise is good for you and your condition, walking, swimming running are a great way to stay fit and mobile.

Exercise that doesn’t feel like work

When you’re having fun, you hardly realize that you’re getting a workout..

Get out with your friends join a walking club, meet new people.

Exercise for you to remain mobile.

Let your little ones run and play to their heart’s content

I joined historic Scotland now I visit castles and climb hills.

Get your Family involved

this is my Sister Deborah, a great support to me with all I do day to day,
getting your family involved can show them that you know it affects them too.
They can also see how you are doing and that's less worry for them
